The UK has decided to change its strategy against terrorism and radical Islam at a time of increasing dissolution of the central Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. The country will now combat the spread of Islamist ideology in its territory, among British Muslims, by education, discussion, and counter-propaganda.
Terror suspects still in UK despite Home Secretary's vow
Eleven terror suspects are still in the UK five months after the Home Secretary vowed to deport them.

The Home Office has even dropped plans to remove one of them but is refusing to say why or identify which one.
Among those still in the UK are radical cleric Abu Qatada and an alleged associate of Osama bin Laden who was once one of the world's most wanted terror suspects - both of who still face deportation.

Two Bulgarians Probed For Allegedly Preaching Radical Islam

Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security, or DANS, said Monday it was investigating two Bulgarians for allegedly spreading radical Islam.
Local mayor Ahmed Bashev and Koranic teacher Murat Boshnak from the Muslim-populated southwestern region of Garmen were summoned for questioning at the agency's Sofia headquarters Monday morning at the prosecution's demand, spokeswoman Zoya Dimitrova told AFP. Investigators are looking into whether the pair violated Bulgaria's penal code related to inciting hostility and racial or religious hatred, she said.

AMSTERDAM (AP) — Dutch police said Friday they were questioning six men and a woman who were arrested following an anonymous tip of a terrorist threat against a popular shopping area.
The warning came in a call from an unregistered phone in Belgium, and appeared linked to the train bombings in Madrid exactly five years earlier. Police said one of those detained is a relative of an Islamic extremist involved in the Madrid attacks who committed suicide a few weeks later as police closed in.
Al-Gama’ at Islamiyya is an Egyptian Islamic movement linked to Al-Qaeda that has been operating in Brazil since 1995. Mohammed Ali Hassan Mokhles, a group member, left Egypt in 1993 and established residency in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil. Authorities claim that Mokhles was sent to the TBA to collect funds for the Middle East and to conduct logistic support activities such as forging passports or other documents for Islamic jihadists. Mokhles reportedly attended a training camp in Khost, Afghanistan.

Islamist extremists in the UK are plotting to repeat their protest of yesterday in which they held up banners labelling British troops on their homecoming parade as "cowards" and "butchers".

A young Christian man was suddenly set on fire by a Muslim man in Egypt after a rumor circulated that the Christian man had a relationship with the Muslim man’s sister.
Yasser Ahmed Qasim approached 25-year-old Sabri Shihata and poured gasoline on the Coptic Christian and then set him on fire, reported the Voice of the Copts on Friday. The young Copt tried to put out the fire by throwing himself into a nearby canal, but the burns were too severe and he later died.
