Egypt's 'extremely weak' Mubarak refuses food "and comment from Assad Elepty "

Mubarak, 83, has been detained since April on charges of ordering the killings of anti-regime protesters and corruption. He is under arrest in a Red Sea resort hospital, where he receives treatment for a heart condition.

His health, the topic of much speculation as critics accuse him of malingering to avoid trial, is "extremely weak," the official al-Gomhuria newspaper reported, citing a hospital official.

He "completely abstains from food and intakes only some liquids and juices," the newspaper quoted Mohammed Fathallah, head of the hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh, as saying.

Mubarak is scheduled to stand trial on August 3 with his two sons, his former interior minister Habib al-Adli and six police commanders.

The location of the trial has not yet been announced but judicial and security sources say it will probably be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, a popular tourist resort where Mubarak resided after a revolt ousted him in February.
Comment: I truly find this Very depressing and sad to read. Irrespective of creed surely any decent individuall can find it in their hearts to forgive Mubarak for his failings.
What puzzles me is that most of those that want him put to trial are filthy that he has totally abused his position and made himself a very very wealthy man at the  expense of the people.
I however look at it differently, As a Copt, I look at all the atrocities he has allowed to be perpetrated against the christian Copts in Egypt, including the attacks on churches and  monasteries. The new years attack on the All Saints Church in Alexandria attributed to Adly Habib former Interior Minister, , all the pain and suffering, the grieving for lost loved ones.
Still I have no reservations in forgiving Mubarak for his transgressions.
Jesus Christ himself taught us how to pray, when we pray The Our Father, we say,
"Forgive us our (trespasses) SINS as we forgive those that have (trespassed) sinned against us"
Jesus also taught us the Beatitudes, "blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy."
I truly forgive Ex president Mubarak and wish him and his wife all the very best in their twilight years.
I wonder if the majority 90% Muslim population in Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood can find it in their hearts to forgive Mubarak?  Where is the mercy for an 82 year old man who succumbed to power, pride and greed (3 of the 7 deadly sins}?

Need I remind The Egyptian Islamic community the Koran commands "Conceal your brothers sins and do not shame him"

From among the teachings of Allah’s Messenger (صلي الله عليه وسلم) is to keep sins a secret matter. If someone commits a sinful act which is against the Commandments of Allah, or is against the moral character, or is such an act that may cause harm to one’s honor, then he should keep it a secret and seek forgiveness from Allah in the darkness of night.

he Messenger of Allah (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said: “My entire nation is safe, except al-Mujahirin (those who boast of their sins). Among the Mujaharah is that a man commits an (evil) act, and wakes up in the morning while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret, he says: “O so-and-so! Last night I did this and that.” He goes to sleep while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret but he wakes up in the morning and uncovers what Allah has kept a secret!” [Saheeh al-Bukhari]

Abdullah Ibn Masoud (رضي الله عنه) related, ‘A man came to the Prophet and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! I have mingled with a woman in the far side of al-Medina, and I fulfilled my desire short of actually having sexual intercourse with her. So, here am I, judge me according to what you decide.’ Umar Ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) then said: ‘Allah had kept your secret, why did not you keep your secret?’ [Sharh Muslim] Similarly, if one becomes aware of somebody else’s sin, he should keep it a secret. Allah’s Messenger (صلي الله عليه وسلم) said: “He, who relieves a hardship of this Dunya (world) for a believer, Allah will relieve (from him) a hardship of the Day of Resurrection; he who makes easy an indebted person, Allah will make it easy for him in the Dunya and the Hereafter; he who covers a Muslim (meaning his mistakes and shortcomings), Allah will cover him in the Dunya and the Hereafter …” [Muslim]

I also ask the Egyptian Islamic community where is the "THE MANIFESTATION OF THE NAME OF ALLAH AS THE ALL- MERCIFUL AND MOST MERCIFUL IN THE QUR'AN"
