A JIHADIST who once wanted to become Britain's first Asian Prime Minister before joining ISIS has reportedly been killed in a drone strike.

Khan was the first Briton to feature in an ISIS propaganda video

Reyaad Khan is thought to have been killed after fellow ISIS fighters reported on Twitter that he had been killed in an air strike in Raqqa.

The 21-year-old's Twitter account, which he regularly updated with propaganda, has not posted anything since July 7, while an ISIS fighter declared that Abdu Dujana - his jihadi name - had been "martyred".

Prominant ISIS jihadists confirmed that he had been killed – asking people to pray for his soul to reach paradise.

Shiraz Maher, from the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, which monitors social media accounts of British jihadists, said she was "confident" that he had died.

She tweeted: "We're confident he's dead but not absolutely categoric. Likely happened about 2 wks days ago."

Khan's mother

Khan, from Cardiff, was one of the first Britons to appear in an ISIS propaganda video last year.

In the footage he is seen holding an assault rifle as he sits next to his fellow Cardiff student Nasser Muthana, who travelled to Syria with Khan.

Muthana's 17-year-old brother Aseel joined them just months later.

Khan regularly promoted life under the regime, encouraged others to join ISIS and boasted partaking in executions and war crimes.

His father, Nazim Khan, 46, said that he has had no contact from Syria to inform him that his son had died.

In April, his mother made an emotional plea for her only son to return home.

In the direct appeal to her son, the woman sobbed as she said: "Reyaad, please come back home.

"I'm dying for you. You're my only son. Please come back Reyaad."
